Thus far, I have not been affected by the explosion in downtown Des Moines. My drive home, however, might be interesting.

Edit 2: Interestingly, once this happened, a google search on "des moines explosion" returned very few results. I had to click on "news" to get what I wanted. Less than two hours after the fire broke out, I was automatically getting loads and loads of info off the main search. Google rocks.

They've closed 80 and 235, which will make it a treat for me to get to Elkhart. Country roads, take me home....

It's going to mess up a lot more roads that just that. I'm debating whether I want to leave work early or late.
