May. 3rd, 2005 09:06 pmSo I'm making chowder (leftover fish bits from sushi, boiled with kombu to make broth, add wasabi, ginger, garlic, and soy; add rice. Yum), so the stove is on, and the timer is set for 20 mins.
I decide to take the time and update the big book of Linux. (Like any good geek, I have a CD binder full
of various Linux distributions, so I can compare.) I get all the old CDs pulled out, and the new ones put
in. The timer starts beeping, so I go to deal with it, leaving all the old CDs on the floor.
I come back into the living room, to see my cats playing with the CDs. I accidentally startle them, so
they take off, scattering CDs all over the place.

I made my cats run on Linux.
