I've heard of burning a candle at both ends, never seen one with four ends before.

I am back from Winnipeg, safely (a while ago).

We are having a major development push at work, which is a lot of fun, but I am very busy with it.
I am also semi-project managing about four other work projects. The amazing thing is that they are
all moving forward and reasonably on time.

I have completed a new circuit in the basement, and in the process found out that the wall down there was worse than I thought. On the plus side, the stars aligned, and I am able to get the repair done for $1000 less than normal. Still more than I want to pay, but I couldn't say no to the discount on something I had to do anyway. The negative there is that they are doing the work tomorrow, so I spent the afternoon moving everything in the basement upstairs.

See, part of the job is demolishing the "finished" portion of the basement, as it was finished without waterproofing. So now I have mold under the finished bits. I am very pleased to getting it dealt with, but not happy about having to spend the next week or so sweeping and bleaching the basement.

On another end of the candle, I have just dealt with a hack attempt on my home server. If you sent an email to me lately and I have not responded, send it again, just to be sure. I *think* I got them all, but I'm not 100% certain.

On the last end of the candle, I have finally been the store and cooked again. (It's been a long long time.) I should post my recipe for soy steeped chicken soonish.

Oh yeah, and I'm on call this week and weekend. (And I'm sick.)

So, that's my week. How's yours?
