Oh, gah. I did not realise that it had been torn about so very much - I assumed it was more a revisitation/amalgamation of the two original stories, which didn't really delight me but didn't put me off as much as your review has. I wanted to see it mainly for Stephen Fry and Alan Rickman (and, to a certain extent, the prettiness of the visual aspect) but JUST, NO. Thanks for saving me £20!
