My photos from my trip are slowly becoming ready. I will be posting from partial sets, as there are more than 8-10 photos per place that I want to share. However, I will try to keep them themed, so you can skip them if you want.
On my first trip to the Phoenix Zoo, I was highly impressed at how kid-friendly it was. One of things that they have is an "Arizona Trail", filled with exhibits of animals that are native to Arizona. This set is from that.
Great Plains Toad - This toad is native to Arizona, check out the eye.
Common Raven - I wish the grid hadn't been there, but I think that this really captures the raven.
Bighorn Sheep - So, I was on the Arizona Trail, looking at the coyotes, and I see this in the distance. Turns out, those little specs that I saw moving were bighorn sheep!
Black-tailed Prairie Dog - Mmmm, salad.
Collared Peccary (Javilina) - Cuddly. Named "Javilina" by the Spanish, because of their razor-sharp javelin-shaped teeth. But, still cuddly.
Bighorn Sheep - I think they must be wearing cleats.
Bobcat - He sees something...
Bunny - ...soon to be bobcat prey. (Not really)
