Well, we got through the first MZ Zoo set. Now we get to start the next one. See, when I was there the first time, the intent was to go on the Minnesota Trail, as I hadn't seen it since they rebuilt it. Sadly, the flying squirrels are gone, but there were other fun things, so it's mostly OK. However, while there, I saw that sign that said that they had new lynx kittens, but they were only on display tomorrow.
So, I canceled my plan to do photography at the Como Zoo and played with lynx kittens instead. Here are my top 10 lynx kittens.

Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) - The lynx kittens were having a grand old time. This one is watching its sibling.

Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) - Slowly stalking.

Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) - Made it black and white, so you can see the shadow detail. The kittens were active, but not exactly graceful.

Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) - I like his eyes in this one.

Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) - Somebody sees a sibling...

Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) - Little kittens have to practice, to fully tune the vomeronasal organ

Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) - Turns out that baby lynxes like to play in the water. I watched him for about 30 minutes, prancing about and shaking water everywhere.

Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) - No one can see you, if you are appropriately camouflaged.

Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) - This has GOT to be the best lynx tongue photo ever.

Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) - Sometimes the rock is just a bit too hard, and you have to make it more comfortable.

Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) - After you prance about in the stream, it must be bath time.
