A kitty cat ghost story
Jan. 21st, 2007 09:51 amThis spine tingling tail of horror was related to me by my orange kitty, Torg.
"It was deep in the middle of the day, no stars nor moon were out. It was cold,
the thermostat was set to a chilling 65 degrees, so I had to curl up with my
friend, Arry, for warmth.
"Suddenly, a soft rustle woke me up! I lept from the chair and looked around.
I felt the hairs on my tail raise and I puffed up, just to be certain. I neither
smelled not saw anything amiss. To be sure, I checked every room, starting
with the bedrooms. I found nothing at all until I came into the kitchen. That
is where I saw it.
"The brown shopping bag cave was slightly askew from when I went to sleep!
I checked it out thoroughly, but there were no strange smells or marks, yet,
it had moved!. I retreated to the safety of one of the chairs underneath the table
and continued my vigil, though I was feeling the pangs of debilitating hunger, as it had
been more than 30 minutes since I last ate. In all the time I watched the bag, it moved
not again.
"Yet, as it had moved, and neither Arry nor I had done it, the conclusion was unmistakable.
We had been visited by a ghost cat!"
