I started my vacation by visiting the Niabi Zoo. It's a small zoo, with more cages than I'd like. However, they've been accredited for less than a year, and they have construction underway that should improve that part. From what I've seen, I expect that it will improve fairly quickly. However, due to construction and the timing of my trip, I was unable to see the lorikeets or the aviary. I had intended to stop again on my way back through, but weather prevented that.

It was a short trip, but I did get to play with my new flash. Much fun.
