Butterflies
Aug. 9th, 2010 02:30 pmIt's hot and humid here. We got five inches of rain last night and now it's all turning into steam. It's miserable.
It reminds me of a certain butterfly house in Costa Rica. Unlike the one populated by rampaging violent butterfly gangs, the butterflies at this place decided to kill via the environment. It was at least 110 degrees in there and at least 90% humidity (not exaggerating). I got some good shots of butterflies, but I had to rest for a good fifteen minutes when I came out just to recover.
