Knowing there was no escape, the phone decided to stand its ground and hope for the best.


Distrustful of technology


A flash can make visible the Vashta Nerada, against whom we are protected (on this planet) by cats. The next time you see a cat chasing nothing, thank them. They probably just saved your life.


Little cats can move very quickly


Claws are very helpful for getting up to speed quickly


It's gotta come down sometime.


As you can see, I have a great deal more books than my brother. He makes up for this by drawing spots on his cats.

They remind me of a cat we had many years ago who was (at best guess) half Burmese and half African Wild Cat. His fur was patterned and coloured very like that, but his nose was a cinnamon brown and his ears and paws were black...

The second to last picture is greatly posed. I love these photos and covet these cats. Such big eyes! All the better for seeing the Vashta Nerada with, I guess. Dr Who? Or is my memory wonky?
