My views on sex

You know, I'm seeing a great many of people either posting or linking to people debating at great length the rights and wrongs about sex. To my surprise, I seem to not have been clear with respect to my own views.

I think that sex should be done as was originally intended... a meiotic gene transfer between two eukaryotic cells. Now, I'm fairly open minded, so if you want to alternate haploid and diploid generations and get a little bit of syngamy action going on on the side, hey, that's your kink.

ETA: Oh, and marriage should be as it's traditionally been: a contractual arrangement between two families to consolidate political or financial power.

Some of us couldn't even follow those rules, adding extra chromosomes or not. We're really rebellious in this family.:)
