Winnipeg Folk Festival - Hayes Carll

Hayes Carll sounds a lot like Todd Snider. His performance technique is about the same (mix of stories and song with a Southern style), and his vocal range is also in about the same place. His music is a mix of personal and funny, so he can be entertaining and somewhat serious at the same time. Musically, he had someone else to help with the guitar work, but the show was all him, and it was quite good.
