Costa Rica

guppiecatIn case you didn't figure it out, I am posting my photos of the Costa Rica trip out of order. Today, we're at the beginning. After getting in to Costa Rica late at night, the next morning we spent several hours in a van on our way to The Sloth Sanctuary of Costa Rica, though we quickly renamed it to "The Slothery". (Well, to be precise, I renamed it... everyone else just humored me.)
This place, unsurprisingly, rescues slothes. (I prefer the plural with an e, because it matches cloth/clothes... the rest of the English speaking world disagrees... they're clearly wrong.) We learned a lot about slothes, and some of learned to smile the way they do. There was a small hiking trail nearby and the center bordered on a little river/canal thing. However, these photos are of the slothes and the grounds. It was a nice start of the trip, as I was able to relax a bit and just snipe away at birds with my long lens.
