MN Zoo - 2012, March
Jun. 26th, 2012 09:23 pmIn March, a group of us went to the zoo to take photos (I know, you're all shocked). I finally processed them. The set is here.
Here's my favorite:

The ability to curl your tongue is genetic. For example, this fine fellow can curl his tongue because he's a cat.
And here are the highlights:

"I, that am curtail'd of this fair proportion, cheated of feature by dissembling nature, deformed, unfinish'd, sent before my time into this breathing world, scarce half made up, and that so lamely and unfashionable that (prairie) dogs bark at me as I halt by them."

Vigilant as a cat

The dhole is a dog native to Asia. Asia is twelve hours off from Minnesota. That's why they're always so tired.

Moist moose majestically moving mainly to maximize mastication moments.

You. Did. What?

Native Moroccan birds eat with their claws.

As God as my witness, I had no idea that turkeys were iridescent.

Paschimottanasana

Bad time to be a mouse.

Bosun bison monitoring the basin.

You can tell he's lying.

Ever wonder why the leopard enclosure has three locks on the door?

"Let me say that I swear, on the souls of my grandchildren, that I will not be the one to break the peace we've made here today."

Presented without comment.
