guppiecatLast of my first set from the Phoenix zoo. These highlights are of the general zooish animals, tigers, lions, etc.

Sumatran Tiger - Isn't it nice to be noticed? . . . I'm glad that the zoo has bars.
Reticulated Giraffe - If you see one of these in the streets of London, run as fast as you can!
Lion - She has espied an antelope! Well, actually, it's a kid in a stroller. Less meat, but likely an easier catch.
Lion - tongueity tongue tongue!
Mhorr Gazelle - Mhorr mhorr on the veldt, what is the African equivalent to the Scheldt? (OK, *you* try rhyming "veldt").
Spotted-Necked Otter - Soon to be a dry otter.
Elephant - Do baby elephants suck their trunks at night? (They have an elephant feeding, where the zookeeper gives a bunch of kids some carrots to throw over the rail for the elephant. For many, this becomes "at the elephant", so ironically, when the kids feed the elephant, the elephant stays as far away as possible. )
Galapagos Tortoise - When the uprising occurs, and the tortoises attack, be sure to have your step ladder handy.
Capybara - Yep, this is a rodent... with no visible teeth... that prefers to swim... that's the size of an average teenager... I think it might really be a hippo.
Radiated Tortoise - Four thousand, six hundred, and ninety one radiated tortoise. (Bonus points for those who get the reference.)
Wobbly - The older wobblies learn the art of controlled falling.
