Being sick is not very much fun. I've spent 80% of the last 48 hours sleeping. However, there is one good part about the whole experience. . .
There are two that I currently recall.
In the first one, it transpires that dinosaurs were far more evolved than we currently believe. They had a complex social structure and economic system. As expected with such, they had trouble getting their work done, so over time, they evolved time management systems similar to our Getting Things Done or Franklin Covey systems.
This allowed them to finely tune their schedules and corporations (ISO certified, of course) to be highly responsive. However, it did mean that they reacted more poorly when things didn't go as planned. Thus, when the meteor stuck, their TO DO lists couldn't get done and the dinosaurs died out from unplanned stress.
Except for those had a contingency plan of "become birds", of course.
In the other dream that I can recall, the goddess Kali transported me to an alternate reality where humans were food for the gods. Unlike most of the abductees, however, I awoke on the conveyor belt (to the room where Kali and Shiva were choosing who got eaten) and escaped. I stole the uniform of an (eventually) obliging guard, and stole off into the room where people were sorting the belongings of those who had been abducted.
While there, I discovered that numerous objects had different abilities. There were small stones in glass bottles (stopped with a cork, of course), small plastic containers containing what appeared to be jellybeans of numerous colours, and other containers with those small sparkly cat toy balls in them. However, none of them were labeled, so I discovered (when I combined colours of sparkly balls in a container) that different colours had different reactions with one another.
I was experimenting with the different colours and logging reactions when I discovered by another guard and had to run. I found out:
1) The sparkley balls and the jellybean colours have the same effects of the same colour, but the jellybeans are more concentrated.
2) The sparkely balls are safer to handle, because the sparkly bits push away the centers of the balls, so it takes more force to cause a reaction.
3) The blue colour causes an "enumeration" effect, counting an aspect of what you throw it at. The concentrated jellybean variety can count deeper than the sparkly kind, but it harder to use.
4) The green colour emits smoke when combined with other colours. This was useful in making my escape from the second guard.
5) The little glass bottles with small stones in them act like lanterns that have different colours of light. I didn't have time to determine what effects the different colours had.
Once I escaped from the second guard, I was at a zoo talking to some kids. Apparently the colour chemistry was something that they were taught in school (which I hadn't gone to, because I was from a different reality). They explained some things that I forgot, and I looked at a tiger and a gigantic baboon (tiger-sized baboon, actually). My camera, however, was taken from me when Kali transported me there, so I can't share pictures. Sorry.
The tiger explained more of the colour chemistry, and I went to a book sale to find a book to explain some more. Then I woke up when one my cats knocked my kleenex box on the floor.
