Brown Pelican (Pelacanus occidentalis) - My mother calls pelicans "dirty stinky birds", but I think they're sorta pretty.
Steller's Sea Eagle (Haliaeetus pelagicus) - This one was right up against the fence, so I couldn't blur it out. I could, however, get a very very close shot of it.
Snowy Owl (Bubo scandiacus) - When I was a kid, there was a snowy owl at our local zoo. I didn't have a dSLR then, however.
Tawny Frogmouth (Podargus strigoides) - I don't know why there are big feathers growing out of his beak.
Ground Squirrel - "Hey you! Get off of my lawn!"
Squirrel - Squirrels in Canada eat apples.
Black-Tailed Prairie Dog (Cynomys ludovicianus) - Shortly after I took this shot, the prairie dog sprouted wings and flew out of his enclosure.
Black-Tailed Prairie Dog (Cynomys ludovicianus) - Each ring of the tree counts as one year. A prairie dog is worth 10 rings.
Squirrel Thing - "What?"
