Phoenix Zoo 2010

The Phoenix Zoo is touted by the zoo guides as one of the five best zoos in the world for children. I have to say that, based on my limited experience, I agree. They manage a good mix of fun and education and the animals are fairly visible in most enclosures. For someone like me, this is a multi-day zoo, but the average family could make a day of it and be fairly happy.

I like this one because it has an almost glamour shot quality to it, but it's of a kittycat*.

* Cheetahs are not exactly kittycats and will sometimes eat your face. Tummy rubbings are discouraged.
