Red River Zoo - Prairie Dogs, Ducklings, Bison

Several weeks ago I returned to the Red River Zoo in Fargo, ND. I was just passing through, and was only able to hit it mid-day, so the light was very harsh. That said, I got some decent photos (all of which you will find here. Today, however, is prairie dog day (with two bonus ducks and one bonus bison).





Remember, prairie dogs will bite.

Very cool. Too bad none of the prairie dog / meerkat exhibits around me have a plexi tube low enough for them to sit on. I'd love to try for a shot like that.
