My orange kitten with his favorite toy (well, until it stopped being much fun as a mouse, which is when he turned it into a fish, until it got kinda nasty. He doesn't play with it anymore.)

Now, the one thing our two youngest don't do is cuddle with each other. So that's a cute I'm not as inured to as the others!

I think that they're siblings. Either way, they've spent all of their lives together (except when the tortie was away all night to be spayed, the orange one was beside himself), so they're very affectionate when they're not either ignoring one another or fighting.

Our two youngest are littermates. I had hopes that they would cuddle, but about the best they do is sleep on the same bed, usually far apart from each other. Your two are spectacular. I'm utterly charmed by the orange guy. Lots of people swear by orange tom cats as companions. I've never had one, so I can't speak to it.

I can swear by orange tom cats' ability to knock things off of tables, chairs, shelves, ledges, etc. It's a repeatable skill in common among all orange toms I have known (OK, only three, but still). In my house, anything breakable gets put away or moved to the exact center of the table when it's not in use.

Well, seeing as how I built the perfect cat windowsill, I don't think that moving is going to be an issue. :)

In fact, I hope that my next house will have more than one window that can be retrofitted that way.

Oh, that's neat! I only have one window mine like to sit in (the condo has north-facing windows plus one west-facing window in the kitchen) so I managed by putting a typing table there with a heating pad and the recycling goes under.
