There's been a lot of chatter on my FL about politics and economics. There is a lot of concern about stability of investments, racism, sexism, and corruption. Certainly this is all justified.

However...

Today, the Boston Globe's Big Picture published a story about Extreme Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis (XDR-TB). The photography is stunning and the subject matter is haunting. It's hard to look at it, but if you think you can handle it, the story is here.

It kinda puts some things into perspective.

When I first went on immunosuppressants, I took INH because my very first TB test came back positive. Theoretically, this gives me more defense than most folks.
