They are all wonderful for different reasons, but maybe the bottom photo is my favorit. The duck butts made me laugh, though.

What is the bird with the curved beak (bill?)? I wonder why it's curved.

What you're seeing as a beak is likely a head decoration. (I think you're looking at the quail.)

You're right, and I'm an idiot! I thought I knew what quail looked like. (I remember staying with my cousin in Sebastopol, CA, and he had a family of quail that lived under his deck--you could watch the whole family march back and forth twice a day. I guess I remember the spectacle of the parade more than the details.)
