These are great. Too bad you weren't there in time for the blooming of the desert once the rains are done. That would have made some awesome shots.
I don't know if you think of it this way, but I often think that the desert around the Valley of Fire etc as looking like something from a Looney Tunes cartoon.
Alex has a good eye. Does she have a camera of her own? (And is she coming along on the zoo trips? I'd be glad to give her pointers if she's interested.)
I need to get the money to fix the Olympus digital we have. Mike leant it to a friend, and it no longer functions. This is after buying and replacing the battery even.
I think it may cost more to fix the camera than it would to replace it. Alex doesn't know how to use a true 35mm camera, and I don't know what Mike did withe the one that I had or his old Cannon.
I would like for Alex to come along, she loves photography but she prefers to shoot movies now days if she can. I can't afford a cheap cam corder these days either. :/ So, we shall see.
