Helping Cat

guppiecatI suspect that most people who read me already know about the fundraiser for Cat Valente and her fiancé (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
yuki_onna and justbeast). Basically, justbeast was laid off a while back and hasn't found a job yet. They're working on it, but it's taking longer than expected and they are at a point where they're hurting.
Now, I don't know Cat personally, I just like her books. (Like, a lot.) However, I have knownrosefox for a very long time. If she says that Cat is good people, than Cat is good people, so I'm sure that the money will be used appropriately. And to put it simply, if they can't afford rent and food, there won't be any more books for me to read (and suggest to you), and we'll all be sad. :(

They're both wonderful (but if you get the Orphan's Tales, be aware that the story continues and concludes (fantastically!) in The Orphan's Tales: In The Cities Of Coin And Spice).
