Greater Vancouver Zoo
Oct. 8th, 2009 08:35 pmConcluding the Vancouver Zoo set. These highlights include the best sign ever and some monkey photos.

Sign - Yes. The sign actually says "No quadra-cycles on the giraffe deck".
I love the English language.

Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) - Go on. Kiss him.

Chinchilla - "It is unwise to bargain with the evil chinchilla."

American Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis) - Wikipedia states "The baby spends about 5 months with the mother before leaving her." In practice, this means that after five months, the mother eats all the remaining babies.

White's Tree Frog (Litoria caerulea) - You'd think that tree frogs would look more impressive in colour.

White's Tree Frog (Litoria caerulea) - You'd be wrong.

White-headed Marmoset (Callithrix geoffroyi) - They have amazingly long tails.

White-headed Marmoset (Callithrix geoffroyi) - And tiny little toes.

White-headed Marmoset (Callithrix geoffroyi) - And fuzzy little faces.

White-headed Marmoset (Callithrix geoffroyi) - They are clearly the cutest little monkeys ever. They hate it.
