Last of the highlights from the Minnesota Zoo set.

Japanese Macaque (Macaca fuscata)
Japanese Macaque (Macaca fuscata) - You really don't want to know what the monkey above them is doing.

Japanese Macaque (Macaca fuscata)
Japanese Macaque (Macaca fuscata) - Go on. Give him tummy rubs. He'll love it.

Japanese Macaque (Macaca fuscata)
Japanese Macaque (Macaca fuscata) - OK, no humor here. This young monkey (about 2 or 3) was moving the big stick back and forth in the dirt and eating all the grubs he unearthed. How cool is that?

Japanese Macaque (Macaca fuscata) - If you don't have a good handhold, your friend's neck will do.

Japanese Macaque (Macaca fuscata)
Japanese Macaque (Macaca fuscata) - It's good to have a mommy.

Japanese Macaque (Macaca fuscata)
Japanese Macaque (Macaca fuscata) - What's brown and sticky and has a monkey attached to it?

These are great! There is a Japanese proverb, "Even monkeys fall from trees", which your second photo exemplifies.

I also like the one with the young monkey rolling the log to find grubs. I feel compelled to share it with my Pilates trainer, because we spend a lot of time doing those same motions.

I don't know what the monkey above was doing, but there's something really poignant about that first photo.
