More from the Woodland Park Zoo

Bird
Bird - Look close. Closer. Really close. Yeah, right there in the beak... FALCON TONGUE!

Heron
Heron - This is atop the new penguin enclosure. I don't know about you, but that sure doesn't look like a penguin to me.

Bird
Bird - Vicious bird of prey wants a cuddle.

Bird
Bird - Serious bird is not amused by my previous joke.

Bird
Bird - Awww, birdie got a cuddle!

Bird and Human
Bird and Human - Turns out humans are tasty.

Arctic Fox
Arctic Fox - If the zookeeper hadn't been nearby, I so would have picked him up.

Bear
Bear - When the bears just lay there with their mouths open and wait for bees to start a new colony... you know they've gotten too lazy.

Elk
Elk - Nyah

Elk

The heron is nicely ruffled, that's a nice shot.

The first falcon looks really worried.

Well, that may slow me down a little, but the descriptions make me wonder if I missed something. I can vaguely recall the plot but I don't remember the prose being anything but difficult. I have a much greater ability to appreciate prose now than I did in my 20's.
I HATED Wuthering heights. Same Bronte?
