Concluding the Costa Rica set from yesterday. If you missed it 'cause it was Sunday, look for it. It's frogtastic.




Did you know that grasshopper antennae came in segments?


The tail is sticking up to attract the lightning. Then, if it hits, the lizard just drops its tail and runs away.


Gray Four-eyed Opossum - He was remarkably tolerant of our presence, actually.


I'm pretty sure that they're so he can get UHF.


Part one: You see a walking stick and shine a light on it.


Part two: The walking stick sees you, and feels threatened. It hides by basically turning into a stick.


This is one of the many bats that lived under the eave of the Slothery. I'm not sure what kind it is, but it's certainly a bat.


Sadly, crabs are aware of the fondness of froggies for bromiliads, and will hunt their tadpoles.


Tadpole-stealing bromiliad crabs even look evil.


I mean, just look at it. It looks like it's going to shave a kitten, scarf down a tadpole, and then wash it down with your immortal soul.
