Raphael's got an amazing photo of a beetle with mites on it. I'm not sure if it's online, but I can check.

I particularly like the very flat sleeping lizard, but most of these, and the other sets too, are really splendid.

There are also plants/molds that parasitize insects. One of the creepiest shows I ever saw was an episode of "Earth" that showed how these fungus infected insects, killed them, and devoured them. And the other healthy insects quickly recognized the infected insects and put them far away from the hive/nest/what have you.
