One day, I took my camera tubing in Costa Rica. I must say that it is remarkably difficult to take photos while spinning around in a raft, paddling, in rainy-low light conditions. However, I did get a few shots. Here's the set.

Check out the feet

Cormorants don't have oil in the feathers to keep the water out. . . You know, unless they're in the Gulf of Mexico.

In Costa Rica, dogs get their own bridges.

Capturing birds in flight is a lot easier when they flight right past you.

Sometimes low light really works for me.

He was surprisingly uninterested in fruit loops.

I did not dare open the door. I just know something's living in there.

That last bird is a giraffe of a bird!

These are great photos.

I didn't realise there was more than one variety of toucan, turns out there are at least a couple of dozen... the bird in your shot is striking and elegant.

I love the snowy egret pic with the water in the foreground. Them feets is fabulous :)

Nifty shots. How did the animals react to people? Were you (plural) general danger or had their been enough humans around that they took off at the approach of the raft?
