I'm preparing to post my photos. I was looking at flickr and picasa, and they both look good.
I've taken enough that I'm into the "pro" versions, so I'm looking at a choice between flickr at around $25 a year, or doing it on my own with gallery.
Gallery is easy to use, but it's very one-sided. If all I want to do is share my photos, it makes sense to do so with gallery. If, however, I want to discuss my photos with many many people, it makes sense to do it in flickr.
Does anyone here have experience with flickr and can give me things to consider/avoid? I am particularly interested in being able to freely share the low-res versions of my photos, but limiting the high-res versions to particular people.
Any advice?
