Wow, planes are weird.

I started looking at various flight sites today. In the past, most of my travel has been business-related, so I've just gone with Expedia. The entire trip planning features make them worth the premium, and it's all reimbursed.

However, I just found out that I get 5 weeks of vacation this year (yeah, I'm shocked too), so I'm considering doing some traveling.

What is astonishing me is that flights through Expedia are a good $100 more than flights through American Airlines directly.
Additionally, flights through Cheapo Air are $80 cheaper than AA. However, if I fly through Cheapo, I have to change planes FOUR times each way. I think that not having to do that is worth the $80.

That is, of course, until we can develop portal technology.

I've used yahootravel.com in the past and found it even cheaper then cheaptickets.com ... I am going to assume that some of those five weeks will be used up here in Canadia. Cos...I said so. Mwaha. Feel my mighty mighty mind controlly powers of controlliness!

Yep, I'm already planning on going to the Winnipeg Folk Festival.

Oh, you meant the other part of Canadia? That's an option, unless I burn up all my vacation time traveling around the midwest US going to zoos and stuff.

That might require a travelling companion though.
