Tucson Botanical Garden
Oct. 18th, 2012 07:51 pmAlmost two years ago, I went to Tucson, largely to visit the Arizon Sonora Desert Museum. However, they close before it's bedtime, so I needed something to do. It turned out that, at that time, it was the Tucson Botanical Garden night event. They set up candles everywhere (which seems a bit risky in a garden of highly flammable plants, but they don't consult me on these things) and let people in. It's not great for photography, but I got six decent shots. The set is here.

This is what the paths looked like at night.

This is what the paths looked like at night, once your eyes adjusted.

And this is what it would it would have looked like in 1935 before colour was invented.
