I am being told that some people can't see my photos because the LJ spoiler tag works erratically. Who is having a problem with this and wants me to change it to a cut tag?

Who doesn't want me to change it to a cut tag and wants me to stick with the spoiler tag?

I can see the photos (as I said) just that photos *and* text get cut off by some border line about 2/5 of the right of the screen. When I switch to reading your particular link rather than my feed link, it's not a problem.

I sent you the screen cap, but I'm not sure gmail grabbed it correctly.

It's the new "Friend Feed" that's cutting a ridiculous amount of space out of the layout, which is why things are cut off. I can't find a way to resize the photos in between the post from my Wordpress blog and LJ. It's irritating.

I don't care about that one way or the other, but I have found having always the same text for the tag bit non-encouraging to click through.

I can see that. In an ideal world, I'd just have the image cut down for LJ's stupid restriction so I can just show the damn photo and not screw up people's layouts. I haven't found a way to do that without writing my own custom Wordpress plugin.

At least as LJ and my browser are interacting this week, I would prefer a cut tag, because I can right click to expand a cut tag in a new tab and see the thing. This spoiler thing won't let me do that; I have to click on one of the regular links to get the post in a separate tab, and then click again to see the picture. (Which I do do, your pictures are worth the trouble.)

The spoiler tag is much better than just having the too-wide image in line.

Cut tags seem to work better more of the time, here.

I prefer cut tags personally, because they don't rely on JS. Also, a single click instead of 2 is needed to display both comments and picture(s).

I know you have good reasons for using the tags. However, I personally would prefer to see the photos inline without clicking through.

I would prefer a cut-tag, because the spoiler tag doesn't let you close it up afterwards, and your photos are large enough to mess things up with my view.
