Feb. 25th, 2007 09:10 amWhen you are at a good zoo, you wind up seeing interesting things that are not constructed. This is a post of pictures of plants and animals that I saw at the Phoenix Zoo, that were not technically part of an exhibit.

Duck - I like the eye on this one. Maybe he's part coyote?

Arizona Bird - These birds were everywhere.

Duck - I think that this guy's feet are amazing.

Butterfly - I do not know what kind of butterfly or flower this is.

Heron - This heron was hanging out in the capybara exhibit. I guess there's good fishing there.

Budding Cactus - These were budding everywhere I went. Must have hit the right time.

7 turtles and 6 turtle reflections - Obviously, one of the turtles is a vampire.

Duck - Shhhh, hiding.

Cacti - They're like skyscrapers.

Rock Formation - Another interesting weather-worn hole.
