Mar. 1st, 2007 09:19 pmThe last of the highlights from my second trip to the Phoenix Zoo. These are the shots that I was unable to get the first time around. (set)
You probably want to click the link and look at the tortoise, but I could be wrong.

Ring Tailed Lemur - He looks surprised.

Common Squirrel Monkey - "Whatcha looking at? Huh? Whatcha see? What's out there? You gonna eat that?"

Maned Wolf - This time the maned wolves were actually moving about. As the sign says, they *do* look like foxes on stilts. (On the first visit, they looked like blankets tossed in the corner.)

Giant Anteater - Check out that tail! It's amazing how it's mostly fur, but the fur is very stiff.

Spectacled Bear - If you wondered what a bear's teeth looked like, this is the safe way. The non-safe way is to don a suit of marshmellows and visit the local dump.

White Faced Saki Monkey - I'd like to say that after I took this shot, he picked up a stick, and ran at me. But he didn't. He grabbed a bite to eat instead.

Leaf - This is just a leaf I found. Focus isn't what I'd like.

Galapagos Tortoise - I like the lighting here.

Rhinoceros Iguana - I think that the colouration may be shedding related, but I'm not certain.

Aldabra Tortoise - Duct Tape: has a light side and a dark side, and holds the Aldabra Tortoise together

Squirrel - He's being very inquisitive.
