Mar. 4th, 2007 06:18 pmOne night, while in Arizona, I took a trip to Papago Park. This is the park that butts up against the zoo, and contains the Hole in the Rock that I mentioned before. This is the set of my photos. Below, you will see highlights from the Papago Park portion. The rest will be a later post.

Lake at Papago Park - This area is surprisingly deserted in the evenings.

Palm

Hole in the Rock - Later, I climbed up into that. Look for the people (view large) for a sense of scale.

Sun Setting over three palms - Other than the light pole, I like the composition here.

With Fronds Like These...

Geese being goosed - All of a sudden, they started honking and flapping. What other explanation could there be?

Canada Goose - Then, he decided I wasn't interesting and left.

Lake - This is the lake that I was taking photos of, viewed from inside the hole in the rock.
