Mar. 8th, 2007 09:01 pmIt's been a while since I did a picture post. Sorry, it's been a crazy crazy week.
One night, while in Phoenix, I went to "Tempe Town Lake". This is a man-made lake in the middle of the city, made (I believe) by widening the Salt River. What's amazing about it is how good of a job they did. Not only is it clean and pretty, but there are also various forms of art (sculpture and poetry) embedded in the bridges and walkways. Since I went at night, I didn't get any of those.

Bridge over Tempe Town Lake - I love what the water does to the light here.

Bridge over Tempe Town Lake - Longer exposure for architectural details.

Tempe Town Lake - Dock on far side of lake

Bridge over Tempe Town Lake - View of the reflections on the water. I have no idea why they splay out so much.

Bridges over Tempe Town Lake - Both bridges and both sides of the lake
