Papuan Hornbill (Rhyticeros plicatus)
Jul. 15th, 2016 02:01 pmThe first Papuan hornbills seen between 1966 and 1969 had smooth beaks. It wasn’t until the 1979 that we saw the ridges for the first time.
There are many theories as to why this is the case.
