Playing off of novapsyche's recent entry, I declare today to be Zen humor day.

Six wise, blind elephants were discussing what zen monks were like. Failing to agree, they decided to determine what zen monks were like by direct experience.

The first wise, blind elephant felt the zen monk, and declared, "Humans are flat."

The other wise, blind elephants, after similarly feeling the zen monk, agreed.

I submit, for your consideration, segments of two recipes. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to infer which recipe is more healthy one.

1) Mix corn syrup melted butter. Stir in farina and continue to stir over very low heat for 45 minutes.

2) Prepare artichokes by breaking off the 3 outer layers of leaves at the breaking point. Slice off 1 inch of the tips and a small portion of the stem. Slice in half and remove the purple choke. Scrape upper portion and stem to remove the dark green. Rub all cut surfaces with lemon.
